Dr. Brian P. Lane is a neonatologist at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego, director of Rady Children's NICU Neurodevelopmental Clinic, and a professor of pediatrics at UC San Diego School of Medicine.
Dr. Lane graduated from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. and was named the school's String of Pearls' Award Recipient in 2000. He went on to complete his fellowship at UC San Diego Medical Center, where he was honored as Pediatric Fellow of the Year.
Dr. Lane has been a part of the Rady Children's staff since July 2003 and is an ECMO specialist.
Along with his other clinical responsibilities, he is the Quality & Safety Officer, Co-Chair of the Code Blue Committee, Chair of the NICU QIC Meeting, and Chair of the STEPP IN Team.
