Slow down and review AFQ. Customize and adapt the visit to fit the needs of the individual patient.
Provide training to staff. Customize training to fit the department’s specific needs.
Adapt the environment when possible. Provide tools to increase regulation and understanding.
Engage key stakeholders. Conduct needs-based assessments. Evaluate acceptability and adaptability on an ongoing basis.
