Dr. Madeleine Jackson is an orthopedic surgeon at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego and an assistant clinical professor of orthopedic surgery at UC San Diego School of Medicine.
A California native, Dr. Jackson grew up in Santa Barbara before attending Princeton University for her undergraduate studies, where she was a member of the varsity soccer and lacrosse teams. Dr. Jackson worked in the finance industry for several years before returning to school to earn her medical degree at the UC San Diego School of Medicine. She completed an orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Washington. During residency, she trained with world-renowned mentors in the fields of orthopaedic trauma, at Harborview Medical Center, as well in pediatric foot and ankle surgery, with Dr. Vince Mosca. Dr. Jackson returned to San Diego for fellowship in pediatric orthopaedic surgery at Rady Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Jackson enjoys caring for children with all general pediatric orthopedic conditions, with a special clinical interest in orthopaedic trauma and pediatric foot and ankle surgery. She is a member of the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Her research areas include pediatric foot and ankle conditions, orthopaedic trauma, and healthcare economics. Her interests outside of medicine include hiking, gardening, and spending time outdoors with her family.
