The Neurology division at Rady Children’s Hospital offers the following subspecialty/multidisciplinary clinics:

- Batten Disease Precision Therapeutics Program
- Comprehensive Epilepsy Center, including a Treatment-Resistant Epilepsy Clinic, and management of patients with vagus nerve stimulators
- Ketogenic Clinic
- Multidisciplinary Neuromuscular Clinic (Muscle Disease Clinic)
- Neurometabolic Clinic (held in Medical Office Building, 4th Floor, North, 3030 Children’s Way)
- Neuro-NICU Program
- Neuro-Oncology Program (held in Peckham Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders)
- Pediatric Multiple Sclerosis Center
- Rett Syndrome Clinic (held at 7910 Frost Street in The Southern Family Center for Cerebral Palsy)
- Tic/Tourette Clinic
- Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC) Clinic
Equipment and procedures available for diagnosis and treatment:
- Radiology services including computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
The following neurophysiology procedures are readily available in our division:
- EEG (electroencephalography) services
- EMG (electromyography) to study electrical activity in nerve and muscle to diagnose neuromuscular disorders
- Nerve conduction studies
- Repetitive nerve stimulation to investigate neuromuscular junction disorders
We also offer:
- Botox (onobotulinumtoxin A) injections for chronic migraine headaches
- Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS)
EEG services are available by appointment Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Qualified staff are on call to provide emergency procedures during off-hours, weekends and holidays. EEGs can be schedule by calling 858-966-5999.
