Autism Friendly Tool Kit

The Autism Friendly Tool Kit provides each department trained with the tools to support patients with autism. It includes a variety of items that can be used for distraction, regulation, or motivation during a medical visit. Some items are single use and will go home with the patient while other tools can be sanitized and used again. In addition to sensory tools, the tool kit also includes visual supports, which help to increase predictability and understanding of medical procedures.

The provision of tool kits to various departments has been made possible by philanthropic funding.
