Dr. Gerald Gollin, FAAP, FACS, is a pediatric surgeon at Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego.
His main clinical interest is neonatal surgery, and his research is focused on necrotizing enterocolitis.
Dr. Gollin is a member of multiple national surgical organizations and is integrally involved with their educational initiatives.
Growing up in Southern California, he earned an undergraduate degree in molecular biophysics and biochemistry at Yale, graduated from medical school at UC San Francisco, completed residency in general surgery at the Yale-New Haven Hospital and completed fellowship training in pediatric surgery at the Children’s Hospital of Buffalo.
Dr. Gollin was on the faculty of the Loma Linda University School of Medicine and Children’s Hospital, where he founded the pediatric surgery fellowship training program before relocating to Rady Children’s in 2015.
