Dr. Katherine Dove is a Child Neurologist and specialist in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego. She is an assistant clinical professor in the Department of Neurosciences at UC San Diego School of Medicine.
Dr. Dove completed her undergraduate studies at William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA, and earned her medical degree at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA. After graduating from medical school, Dr. Dove completed her residency training in Pediatrics and fellowship training in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh.
Dr. Dove’s main clinical practice encompasses neurodevelopmental disorders of infancy and early childhood, focusing on early developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, and neurogenetics. She is the director of the Neurocardiac Clinic, which provides for the neurological needs of infants and children with congenital heart disease.
Dr. Dove is active in medical student and resident education. She is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology with special qualifications in Child Neurology.
