Dr. Krishelle Marc-Aurele is a neonatologist at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego and a professor of pediatrics at UC San Diego School of Medicine.

She is board certified in pediatrics, internal medicine, neonatology and palliative medicine.

Dr. Marc-Aurele completed her neonatal fellowship at UC San Diego/Rady Children's, followed by a hospice and palliative medicine fellowship at San Diego Hospice and the Institute for Palliative Medicine.

Prior to joining Rady Children's Neonatology division full time, she worked half time as a medical director at San Diego Hospice, and as an attending physician with the UC San Diego Howell palliative service, and half time as an attending physician in the UC San Diego Hillcrest neonatal intensive care unit. She currently serves as the Neonatal-Perinatal Fellowship Program Director.

Her clinical interests include perinatal palliative care and bereavement as well as end-of-life care. Her research involves difficult decision-making, ethics and physician-patient communication.
