Mai Ngo, M.D.

Bio

Dr. Mai Ngo is a rehabilitation medicine specialist at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego and an associate professor at UC San Diego School of Medicine. She is board-certified in pediatrics, physical medicine and rehabilitation, pediatric rehabilitation medicine, and brain injury medicine.

Dr. Ngo completed her undergraduate education at UC Berkeley with a double major in Molecular Cell Biology and Classical Civilizations before attending medical school at UC Davis. She completed a general pediatrics residency at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland and worked there as a pediatric hospitalist for three years before returning to adult medicine to complete a second residency in Physical Medicine and rehabilitation at UCLA/VAGLAHS. She was an attending physician at Benioff Children’s Oakland for more than a decade before making the transition to Rady Children’s Hospital in 2023.
