Collection Instructions

Submit blue-capped vial (PVA) and yellow-capped vial (10% Formalin) from the AlphaTec stool collection set, or fresh stool in sterile container.**If multiple collections are to be submitted, ensure that date and time of collection are documented on each specimen. Only one collection per date is accepted.**

Rejection Criteria

More than one specimen collected on same date, stool containing Barium or mineral oil, and/or colonic washes or aspirate are not acceptable.

Test Volume Required

1 gram stool per vial or 2 grams of fresh stool.
